It has been a year since India ended their 17-year wait for a T20 World Cup title, defeating South Africa in a thrilling final at Kensington Oval. The match was a nail-biter, going down to the final over, but India held firm to secure the win and bring joy to fans worldwide.

The victory was the result of a dominant campaign, with India remaining undefeated throughout the tournament. The team demonstrated resilience and character.

One of the most memorable moments of the tournament was the high-stakes clash between India and Pakistan. "It wasn’t just a game," Rohit Sharma recalled. "The atmosphere was electric, with tight security and passionate fans. It felt like a festival."

India prevailed over Pakistan by six runs in a tense, low-scoring match. Jasprit Bumrah was named Player of the Match for his exceptional performance of 3 for 14.

Despite an early batting collapse, with key players like Kohli, Rohit, and Axar falling quickly, Rishabh Pant's aggressive 42 off 31 balls steadied the innings, pushing India to a total of 119.

"On that pitch, his 42 was like scoring 70," Rohit Sharma said, recognizing the significance of Pant's contribution. "We knew 140 was par, but with our bowlers, even 119 could work."

Rohit praised Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh for their exceptional execution of the game plan. "Bumrah is a weapon; he takes wickets and contains runs. Arshdeep has also been brilliant. They were crucial in securing the victory."

From the charged atmosphere of the India-Pakistan match to the tense final in Barbados, Rohit Sharma's reflections highlight the team's unforgettable journey and the memories they created for the nation.
