Check out a trio of images focused on some of the fiendish new traps John Kramer has come up with for those he has decided to test this time out.

Jigsaw is back in Saw X, which means it’s time for more of his fiendishly clever and fiendishly horrific traps and Fandom has an exclusive new look at just what’s in store for the new batch recruited to play his game.

In Saw X, the story goes back to the early days of the series, in a tale set between the original Saw and Saw II, as the terminally ill John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is told about a miraculous new method to remove his inoperable tumor, meeting with several people who vouch for it – only to learn, after he’s gone through the supposed procedure, that he’s been duped.

We’ve got the debut of three new images from the tenth film in the Saw franchise, showing three of John’s targets in situations that, well… aren’t going to be a good time for these folks. But you know who it’s bad to dupe? John Kramer.

Yes, in this installment, it’s decidedly personal, as John goes after everyone who was involved in tricking him with all of the gusto — and diabolical engineering skills — you would expect from the guy who gave the world Billy the Puppet and the reverse bear trap.

Check out the phots below and ponder just what happens to each of these people if they can’t pass their respective test. We’re guessing it’s gonna get messy either way…

Directed by longtime Saw series collaborator Kevin Greutert (Editor of Saw, Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, Saw V, and Jigsaw, and Director of Saw VI and Saw 3D,) and also featuring the return of Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young — thanks to taking place in the timeline before either John or Amanda died — Saw X opens on September 29.
