Keep a vigil on rowdy-sheeters and their activities, DGP tells police officials in Visakhapatnam

Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta conducted an internal meeting with the police personnel from various departments at the police conference hall here on Sunday, in the presence of Commissioner of Police, Shankabratha Bagchi, DCP V Ajitha and other officials.

During the meeting, the DGP reviewed the functioning of law & order, crime, traffic and other wings with the department heads. He directed the officials to have good infrastructure in the police stations. He has also asked them not to tolerate crimes and crack the whip against ganja, drugs and other narcotics. He also asked them to keep a vigil on the rowdy-sheeters and their activities.

Later, the DGP received grievances from the police personnel and assured to resolve them at the earliest.
