Reportedly, the case was filed on the basis of a complaint lodged by an IT employee in Kochi. The dispute began at a pub named Velocity where Lakshmi Menon and the other accused were also present, according to the complainant. When the complainant and his friends attempted to leave the venue, the situation reportedly escalated. He alleged that his car was chased, intercepted, and that he was forcibly dragged out of the vehicle before being assaulted and taken into the accused’s car.An online video clip has since circulated. The clip shows what appears to be Lakshmi Menon and her group confronting the complainant’s car.

Lakshmi Menon says the complaint is fabricated

Reportedly, Lakshmi Menon, however, has strongly denied the allegations. The actress has termed them baseless and motivated.
According to the sources, in her anticipatory bail plea, she argued that she had no involvement in the alleged incident and that the case has been fabricated to tarnish her reputation.

The High Court’s interim relief has given the actress some breathing space, but the case continues to draw public scrutiny.
