Visakhapatnam Steel Executives Association (SEA) felicitated Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) PF Trust Chairman H.K. Jha and Secretary S. Ramprasad for their efforts in resolving the Employees Pension Scheme (EPS) 95 issue, on Monday.
The SEA the executive body felt that the two executive cadres played a key role, especially in determining the eligibility of employees, and in conveying the grievances of the employees who did not receive pension orders even after 15 months of money being deposited as per demand letters. At present, 5,500 VSP employees are eligible for EPS 95, they added.
SEA president Katam S.S. Chandra Rao, general secretary K.V.D. Prasad, vice-president Chandra Venkateswara Rao, treasurer Patnala Lokesh, and executive members M. Appa Rao and Umasundari were others present at the felicitation programme.
