Waltair Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Manoj Kumar Sahoo, clarified that there is no truth in the speculation, which appeared in a section of the media that the Prayagraj station in Uttar Pradesh would be closed.
In a statement on Monday, the DRM assured the public that all services from Prayagraj stations will operate as per the planned schedule, and the station was fully functional. The special trains from Visakhapatnam to Gorakhpur and Visakhapatnam to Deen Dayal Upadhyay will operate as per the schedule.
Mr. Sahoo emphasised that the railway team was fully committed to ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for all passengers travelling through Prayagraj and other stations in the Mahakumbh region. He also reassured the public that all operations are under constant supervision and are functioning according to plan.
