Amid the roar of fighter jets taking to the sky, the aero enthusiasts will be treated to music renditions by two popular Armed Forces bands at Aero India. Die hard fans of The Eagles could be regaled with their most popular number Hotel California – an additional takeaway from India’s premier air show.
Bengaluru-based Air Warriors Symphony Orchestra of the Air Force Station, Jalahalli, and Japan -based the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific are likely to perform together, bringing harmony to the popular numbers that they play.
Sources said the U.S. band was particular about playing Hotel California, among their other favourites.
The members of the two bands would also jointly perform for which they started rehearsing on Monday evening. According to sources the Band of Pacific, based in Yokota Air Base in Japan, has 10 members, while the Air Warriors Symphony Orchestra has 12, all of whom will be synchronising their music.
According to the U.S. consulate, the band will perform on February 13 and 14 at 5 p.m. at Aero India. The U.S. Air Force band will also perform at the Christ (Deemed to be University) auditorium.
