Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy who held a review meeting on the State Tourism Policy in Hyderabad on Wednesday (January 29, 2025) said that the focus of the policy should be on promoting ecotourism and temple tourism. Alongside, he gave directions on the infrastructure that can be created, initiatives that can be taken in various parts of the State to promote tourism.

A skywalk connecting Sanjeevaiah Park, NTR Gardens and Indira Park – which are spread around Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad
Kerala-style boat houses in the backwaters of Nagarjunasagar and Srisailam
Develop a circuit covering Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara, Ramappa temple and Laknavaram
Arrangements should be made for pilgrims to the Jatara to visit nearby tourist destinations
Amrabad and Kawal Tiger Reserves have to be developed to be suitable for safari tourism
A Buddhist circuit has to be developed connecting all Buddhist tourist places in the State
Facilities should be improved in Ananthagiri and other places
