Chennai RPO S.Vijayakumar on Monday received the mobile passport seva van to extend passport services to residents in remote areas and underserved areas.
According to a press release, the mobile passport seva van would process passport application in camp mode. The initiative enables ease of access to passport services to individuals without travelling long distances. Moreover, the mobile passport seva van is expected to play a key role in facilitating student connect programmes, the release said.
