A renovated complex of the Department of Art and Culture on the beach was opened on Monday.
The building, which includes an art gallery, was constructed at a cost of Rs. 4 crore under the Puducherry Smart City Project.
Lt Governor K. Kailashnathan formally opened the premises in the presence of Chief Minister N. Rangasamy.
Speaker R. Selvam, Tourism Minister K. Lakshminarayanan, Minister of Art, Culture and Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs P.R.N. Thirumurugan, A. Nedunchezhiyan, Secretary (Arts and Culture) also participated.
