Actor Madhupal has urged students and teachers to think progressively. “The real progress begins in the mind,” he said while addressing a seminar during the ongoing international conference ‘Amalit’ at Amal College of Advanced Studies, Nilambur, on Friday.
The actor suggested changing the basic thought from ‘I” to ‘we’ as a method of personal empowerment. He said cinema should not be viewed merely as a medium of entertainment; rather it should be a medium of serious study.
Saji Gopinath, former Vice-Chancellor of Digital University Kerala, inaugurated the seminar. P.V. Abdul Wahab, MP, presided over the function. M.A. Sajita, head of the Department of English at Calicut University, was the moderator.
