The Kanathur police on Saturday arrested the key suspect involved in harassing a group of women in a car on East Coast Road (ECR) recently.
The case relates to a complaint alleging that on January 25, a group of women was harassed by men who came in two cars. Following an investigation, the police had earlier confirmed the arrest of Santhosh, 28, Tamilkumaran, 21, Ashwin, and Visves, 21, in the case.
Addressing the media on Saturday, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Pallikaranai, Karthikeyan said Chandru, the key suspect, had been arrested and a search was on for two others.
