L-G attends live streaming of PM’s Pariksha Pe Charcha programme in Puducherry

Puducherry Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan, Speaker R. Selvam, Home Minister A. Namassivayam and Chief Secretary Sharat Chauhan were present at the live streaming of the 8th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha programme at Kamban Kalai Arangam.

The 2025 edition of the programme of the Prime Minister interacting with students, parents and teachers ahead of board examinations every academic year, was live streamed at Kamban Kalai Arangam for the government school students in Puducherry. The event was hosted by the Directorate of School Education in Puducherry.

After the live streaming, the Lt. Governor addressed the students and recalled his student days. Mr. Namassivayam, who also holds the Education portfolio, in his address said around 80% of the students registered a pass in the model board examination conducted recently by the government in the CBSE pattern. Several measures were being taken to improve the standard of teaching in government schools, he added.

Education Secretary P. Jawahar and Director of School Education P. Priytarshny also attended the programme.
