The Intellectual Property Rights Cell, Bharathiar University, on Friday equipped faculty and researchers with the tools to effectively navigate the complex landscape of the patenting process through a day-long programme titled ‘IPR: Translating Research from Campus to Corporate’.
The programme was meant to enable the participants to assimilate the rudiments of commercialising their innovative concepts and products, S. Vincent, Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, said in his inaugural address.
The IPR Cell was supported by the Patent Information Centre, Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, for conduct of the programme.
