The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Kerala State branch has launched a wing to promote literary talent among its members.
U.K. Kumaran, writer, on Thursday night (January 30) opened the section which will work under the IMA cultural wing. It will be headed by T.P. Nazar, an ENT surgeon. Autoscope, Oru ENT surgeonte ormakkurippu, a book written by city-based ENT specialist Shankar Mahadevan, was released on the occasion. Writer V.R. Sudheesh was present. K.A. Srivilasan, IMA State president, presided over the event. It was followed by a musical concert by T.P. Meharoofraj.
