Citizens condemn attack on Chilkur Balaji temple head priest

A group of 56 citizens from 18 States across the country came together on change.org to condemn the attack on C.S. Rangarajan, the head priest of Chilkur Balaji Temple, near Hyderabad.

The citizens expressed deep alarm over the incident, describing it as an “extremely dangerous development” where a respected religious figure is subjected to violence for not adhering to a particular agenda. They warned that if such extremist activities go unchecked, society could descend into unprecedented violence, endangering public safety.

In their appeal, they urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to take immediate action against all the people involved in the attack. Additionally, they called for stringent measures to curb extremist movements that threaten the peace and security of the country.
