In view of track maintenance engineering works at Pasur and Chavadipalayam railway yards, situated between Karur and Erode railway stations, changes have been made in train services on February 8 and 10 as detailed below.
A release from Salem Railway Division said Train No.56809 Tiruchi – Erode Passenger Train, scheduled to leave from Tiruchi Junction at 7.20 a.m., will be terminated at Karur railway station. The train will run from Tiruchi Junction to Karur only and it will not run from Karur to Erode on those days.
Train No.16846 Sengottai – Erode Express, scheduled to leave from Sengottai at 5.10 a.m., will be terminated at Karur railway station. The train will run from Sengottai to Karur only and it will not run from Karur to Erode on those days.
Likewise, Train No.16845 Erode – Sengottai Express, scheduled to leave from Erode at 2 p.m., will instead leave from Karur at 3.05 p.m. The train will not run from Erode to Karur and it will leave from Karur and run up to Sengottai on those days, the release added.
