BU Syndicate drops F.X. Lovelina Little Flower from VC Convenor Committee

The Syndicate of Bharathiar University (BU), Coimbatore, has dropped F.X. Lovelina Little Flower, Member Syndicate/Professor, Department of Social Work, from the Syndicate Sub-Committee/ Vice-Chancellor Convenor Committee.

In a communication to members of Syndicate/Senate, Registrar In-Charge Rupa Gunaseelan said a resolution was adopted to that effect at the 360th Syndicate meeting – by circulation.

The resolution restrained Prof. Lovelina Little Flower from discharging the duties of the Vice-Chancellor with effect from January 31, 2025. The letter, copies of which were addressed to the officials of key departments in the university, did not mention the reason for the decision. Prof. Lovelina Little Flower could not be reached over phone.
