Book released – The Hindu

A strong leadership and good governance were essential in the present day for entrepreneurs to overcome challenges, said Rotary Governor R. Raja Govindasamy.

Speaking at a function to launch a book The Tech Phoenix: Satyam’s 100-Day Turnaround authored by T.N. Manoharan and V. Pattabhiram, he said that the book explores the extraordinary revival journey of the Satyam computers and its significance in the corporate world.

Former professor R. Nedumaran offering felicitations said that the book gave valuable lessons on leadership and corporate ethics. Former MADITSSIA president T. Ravee lauded the authors and said that the next generation, who stepped into the corporate world, should read the book as it dealt with the ups and downs.

The event was jointly organised by the Madurai Freemasons, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Madurai Branch) and MADITSSIA. Apart from entrepreneurs and academics, students from the business school in Madurai, industrialists and CAs participated. An interactive session was held in which the authors responded.
