Adivasi folk troupes showcase rich cultural heritage of aboriginal people at Keslapur in Adilabad district

It was a visual treat for the audience at the cultural event held at Keslapur village, the venue of the ongoing Nagoba jatara in Adilabad district, as Adivasi folk troupes presented various forms of Adivasi music and dance, depicting the rich cultural heritage of aboriginal people late on Thursday evening.

Day three of the mega Adivasi fair featured several religious and devotional programmes.

Adivasi artistes performed the traditional folk dances in the presence of scores of pilgrims comprising Mesram clan Raj Gonds and Pardhans, besides a host of officials.

The event was organised under the aegis of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Utnoor.

The organisers have made elaborate arrangements for the annual ”Nagoba Darbar” to be held at the jatara site at 11 a.m. on Friday.
