BRS leaders led by KTR visit Chilkur Balaji Temple chief priest Rangarajan

A team of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders led by its working president K.T. Rama Raoconsoled the chief priest of Chilkur Balaji Temple C.S. Rangarajan, who was allegedly attacked by some people a couple of days back, at his residence in Chilkur of Moinabad mandal in Rangareddy district on Monday (February 10, 2025).

Accompanied by party leaders P. Sabitha Indra Reddy, P. Kaushik Reddy, V. Srinivas Goud, R.S. Praveen Kumar, P. Karthik Reddy and others, KTR visited Chilkur and termed the incident as heinous. It was an indication of the deteriorating law and order situation in the State, he said.

The BRS working president said that it was the responsibility of the State Government to bring to book the attackers, irrespective of their agenda, and such elements were required to be handled with an iron fist. He sought to know what would be the situation of commoners if the family of Mr. Rangarajan, who was well-known across the world through the devotees of the temple, faced such a situation.

Mr. Rama Rao demanded that all the culprits be arrested immediately and be punished as per the provisions of the law and also that the government provide necessary security to the chief priest’s family along with taking measures to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
