The Narsingi police have sent the 4 TB hard disk allegedly belonging to YouTuber Masthan Sai to the Telangana State Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), a senior official close to the investigation informed.
Sai was arrested on Monday in connection with an alleged large-scale cybercrime and sexual exploitation case involving illegally recorded private videos and hacked personal data of multiple women, including teenagers.
“We will take the investigation forward based on the contents of the hard disk as well as statements from the victims. Women police officers will also be deployed to analyse the footage and identify the victims,” the official said.
The case came to light after actor Raj Tarun’s wife Lavanya, a resident of Kokapet Village, filed a complaint on February 2, said the Narsingi police.
The complainant, who has been known to the accused since 2022, alleged that the 4TB hard disk found at Sai’s residence in 2024 contained illegally obtained private content, including explicit videos and hacked personal data of women.
The complainant alleged that Sai had been drugging women to exploit them and record their private moments.
According to the official, Big Boss Telugu fame and Radio Jockey Shekhar Basha has also been named as an accused in the case.
Based on the complaint, the Narsingi police booked a case and launched a detailed probe into the matter.
