About 22 former employees of Amazon Development Centre were booked by the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) in an alleged ₹102 crore fraud.

The case was booked following a complaint lodged by Amazon‘s corporate counsel in a Kukatpally court accusing employees working in the relay operations centre (ROC) in Nanakramguda, which managed freight operations across multiple countries.

The complainant alleged that they accepted bribes to manipulate freight operations and benefited third party carriers, particularly from the U.S. This, while the employees were strictly prohibited from unauthorised communication with carriers. The accused employees allegedly set up contacts and negotiated bribes outside the official channel, the complaint added.

A case was booked, however, no evidence has been found yet, an official investigating the case said. The TGCSB is also yet to record statement of the complainant.
